VentiRx Pharma Completes $26.6M Series A Round

SAN DIEGO, CA -- VentiRx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced the closing of its series A financing, receiving $26.6 million in new funds.

The company was founded in June 2006 and is focused on the development and commercialization of medicines to enhance innate immunity across a range of therapeutic areas.

VentiRx intends to use the funding proceeds to acquire small molecule candidates to advance into trials and ultimately public use.  Investors in the round included Frazier Healthcare Ventures, ARCH Venture Partners and Domain Associates.
